Swollen was a band Jay formed in his "Grunge" period. Active in the Rochester music scene in the mid 90s They played mostly originals and a few select covers of the day. A lot of new songs were written reflecting Jay's grunge influence but the rock and blues influences were also prevalant in their sound. Their sole release was a 3 song demo on cassette tape. As always there are some unreleased live video and cassette recordings. You can hear the lost demo here or on your favorite streaming platform! The plan is to release a physical CD for sale as well which would feature Swollen along with Virgin Headset and some other unreleased material from the 80s & 90s
